Mentoring

Thanks to members of the Club who have generously volunteered their time and expertise, the Mentoring Program is up and running.The Mentoring program brings together two people who meet on their own schedule, in a place they agree to and meet as often or as little as they decide is necessary. There is no charge for this help.

If you would like some help, on a one-on-one basis, please let me know.

Club members have offered their help in many areas; here are just a few of the subjects for which we have volunteers:

Cameras, selection & operations

“Seeing” a picture without a camera

Taking a picture – camera settings and composition

Specialized picture taking – landscapes, ambient light

PR photography

Computer basics for photographers

Photo editing (post processing ) – various programs

Creating slide shows and travelogues – various programs

Creating signs & posters

Preparing for competitions

Those requesting help should be as specific as possible concerning their needs. Please include your phone number so the mentor can get in touch with you to arrange to meet. Please respond to: Arnold Becker and we will make every effort to be of help.
