Grand Photos
Grand Photos offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for every photographer, from novices through those with considerable experience. With the exception of some classes conducted by invited professionals or costs for off-site commercial locations, all classes are free. For those classes that are conducted by professional photographers, a modest charge may be levied to offset the cost of their instruction.
The Club’s educational opportunities include scheduled classes, Special Interest Groups (SIG), one-on-one assistance with the club Mentoring Program, a comprehensive lending library and photo shoots. For additional learning experiences, check the websites listed under “Photography Websites”. For more information click the associated links on the right side of this page.
While not a formal part of the education programs, open studio hours provide members time to discuss various aspects of photography in an informal environment. Please feel welcome to join these discussions. There are also computers with a variety of photo editing software, printers, scanners, mat cutting and photo mounting hardware available for member use. There are nominal fees for supplies when using the printers and photo mounting equipment.
